Toni has been involved with Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs since 1998 and finished her first Bred By champion, CH Whispering Pine Sacajawea, in 2003.

Before Swissys, Toni was involved in showing horses, while her husband, Lyle, took to the polo field. They lived on a 6000 acre ranch in Tehachapi, CA, where they owned a Cow/Calf operation that leased the animals out to shows and Cutting Horse competitions. All of this gave Toni the competitive edge that she uses to her advantage with her dogs in the show ring today.

Dogs bearing her kennel name have consistently been in the top 20 in the nation, as well as in the Bred By Exhibitor category, having been owner handled all the way. And she has the distinction of being the #1 Owner, Handler of GSMD's in the country.
